FashionTT to Host Business of Fashion Workshop in Tobago
The Trinidad and Tobago Fashion Company Limited (FashionTT) will be hosting a one-day workshop on the Business of Fashion in Tobago on Thursday 27th July, 2017 at the Victor E. Bruce Financial Complex, 6-10 Post Office Street, Scarborough at 9:00 a.m.
For 2017, this workshop will be the final such event in a series of workshops hosted by FashionTT in partnership with the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) and the Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards (TTBS). The first round of workshops will take place in Trinidad on 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd July, 2017.
Lisa-Marie Daniel, General Manager of FashionTT explains, “FashionTT is looking forward to hosting this workshop to the benefit of our designers in the sister isle. For FashionTT, holistically developing the capacity of the local fashion industry is integral to its commercialization and so this one-day Business of Fashion workshop on 27th July, 2017 will provide designers in Tobago with the opportunity to learn first-hand from industry experts on how to strategically manage their fashion business for successful outcomes.”
Facilitating the workshop are highly respected local, creative and fashion industry practitioners: Ms. Hannah Hafeez, Part Time Instructor at The Academy for Caribbean Fashion and Design, University of Trinidad and Tobago and Mr. Jessel Brizan, Founder/CEO at Jessel Brizan Design Group Ltd. These presenters will be sharing their knowledge and educating participants on several pertinent business topics including:
